In A Nutshell: A group of WI members have a go at raising money for charity by getting their kits off for a calendar. This film charts their rise to fame.
Good Points: It’s a true story and although I am probably 30 years too young for this film, I enjoyed it. There’s a spattering of humour and sadness. Plus, Helen Mirren rocks.
Bad Points: It’s a bit like watching a gaggle of middle-aged women, pissed up on a hen night: embarrassing in parts.
Good For: Watching ALONE and never admitting to anyone but actually secretly enjoying.
