Brief Synopsis: Gabriel has nothing to live for and wants to kill himself, but if these are the last days of his life, they better be good ones. Join Gabriel on his journey of debauchery, depravity and hedonism through London, Tokyo and Berlin.
Good Points: It’s funny, it’s sad, the characters are believable and interesting, some bits will make you gasp, some bits will make you wince.
Bad Points: It requires a lot of concentration, as the words and ideas the author weaves through the novel need a bit of following.
Good For: Playing out your most debauched fantasies without ever having to get near them.
